[PCMS 2021.2] Nic TVG - I Know Where the Vultures Live

Nic TVG’s second album, “I Know Where the Vultures Live,” sees the musician and computer programmer continue to progress his style of detailed, sample-based drum and bass.

By finding enjoyment from building different timbres and meticulous edits, each track encapsulates a number of moods and musical influences. Tones from jazz, funk, and blues overlap with ideas from hip-hop, techno, drone, and both early and modern jungle. Often in the style of drumfunk, the emphasis around the drum arrangement is used to react and adjust to the other elements. Track titles are references to places lived and the sample sources.
